Louise Gehrig is a highly experienced litigator with more than 20 years’ experience in litigation and dispute resolution in corporate and commercial law, trust and estate litigation, particularly at Supreme and Federal Court level.​

​

Louise’s areas of expertise include Australian Consumer Law including unconscionable conduct and misleading and deceptive conduct in business, banking and finance litigation, property and commercial disputes, wills, estates and trust disputes.

​

She has built a reputation in the market for being an astute, straight talking litigator, who focuses on achieving practical, commercial outcomes. She has acted for a range of institutional and private clients from both a plaintiff and defendant side.

​

Louise also has a keen interest in elder abuse and has worked on a variety of pro bono claims defending seniors' rights. She also has an interest in the sports, entertainment and hospitality industries, having worked on a substantial case in the ticketing industry, acted for an AFL Club and also a hotel operator in Victoria’s Hotel Quarantine Inquiry.

Rob Norton, Senior Associate

Rob is an experienced litigator with a strong background in dispute resolution and negotiated outcomes.

​

From the very beginning of his career, Rob has had a strong interest in unconscionable conduct in business and commerce. He has grown to be a expert in this field. He also has a love for advocacy and has built a reputation for tenaciously pursuing his clients' rights both in and outside of the court room.

​

Rob specialises in disputes and litigation concerning:
 

  1. unconscionable conduct;

  2. misleading and deceptive conduct;

  3. property and leasing;

  4. contract disputes;

  5. corporate insolvency and bankruptcy; and

  6. corporate governance; 

 

Working with Louise Gehrig, Rob has also acted for a range of institutional, corporate and private clients whether they be plaintiffs or defendants. Rob also shares a keen interest in assisting some of the most vulnerable members of our society and regularly acts on a pro bono basis to prevent elder abuse.
